Superstar

Hi lovelies!

I've recently moved down (temporarily - but hopefully permanently soon!) to work in London again which is why i've been a bit MIA for the past week or so. I feel like i'm always saying sorry for being away but I like to keep you all updated and recently I've been moving about and working on different things quite a lot, so it's been difficult to get into a good routine. It’s annoying when life gets a little in the way of my blogging as I enjoy it so much, but it can’t be helped. However, i'm finally settled and sorted now and so hopefully i'll get back into a solid routine with my blog again.Yay!
This is an outfit I’ve been channeling a lot recently. After FINALLY getting my very own Adidas Superstars (something I have been lusting after for far too long now, as you will probably know!) I have been wearing them almost non-stop. They are super comfortable (like how I imagine walking on clouds to be) and can be worn with everything, instantly adding a relaxed feel to every outfit. I think I’m going to do a post either next or in the next couple of posts dedicated to these babies, so if you’re interested in finding out more about sizing, comfort, where they stock them (as it did take me yonks to find some in my size) etc. then definitely look out for that!
For now I’ll just say they have barely left my feet – except for when I sleep and even then it’s hard work to get them off.  There is a suede black pair i've spotted on ASOS which also look so great and would be perfect for winter. I am a little worried about the white in these with winter now here, although any dirt has so far come off really easily. I think these are the first pair of trainers I want to keep sparkling white, without making me look like a complete geek. They are so perrrrrty!
This is a very simple outfit, but something I am loving at the moment. I've mentioned it before that I’m really enjoying the chilled out normcore trend that’s around; Simply just chucking on all your clean basics with a good oversized coat and trainers and you are done. I've been wearing my basic H&M tees religiously recently – they are so easy to throw on and go, automatically making an outfit look clean and simple.

I bought this beige shearling jacket in the sale earlier on this year. I was lusting after it for yonks last winter and so when I saw it had gone in the sale for a bargain £15 I just knew it had to be mine. As the belt was missing for my size I nabbed the only other one going in the store (cheeky) but think they would all be the same size wouldn't they? It is such a cosy piece and I am so happy I bought it. There are some amazing real vintage ones on ASOS Marketplace at the moment which I have been eyeing up. Very Bane like and so friggin cosy.
I’m really excited that I’m down in London for a long while this time, as hopefully I’ll be able to get some street shots and ones in front of cool backdrops which will mix it up a little from my usual countryside backgrounds. Hopefully I will be able to persuade some of my lovely friends and family to be my photographer by paying them kindly with chocolates and just my general amazing presence...and modesty. I am a little worried about snapping them the usual way with my tripod in the middle of London (or anywhere, actually), as someone could easily just grab my tripod and run. Although if I was wearing these Superstar beauts I feel I would easily catch up with them.
